All active adjustments are listed here:</p><ol>\n<li value=\"1\"><p>Go to <b>Purchases &gt; Smart Reorder</b>.</p></li>\n<li value=\"2\"><p>Open <b>Sales forecast</b>.</p></li>\n<li value=\"3\"><p>Click <b>Forecast adjustments &gt; Manage adjustments</b>.</p></li>\n</ol><p><img src=\"https://help.core.cin7.com/hc/article_attachments/18035598092175\" style=\"width: 600px;\"></p><h2>Create adjustments</h2><ol>\n<li value=\"1\"><p>Open <b>Manage adjustments</b>.</p></li>\n<li value=\"2\"><p>Click <b>Create new adjustment</b> and choose a type: <b>Change by %</b>, <b>Set % trend</b>, or <b>Change quantity</b>.</p></li>\n<li value=\"3\"><p>Configure and save the adjustment.</p></li>\n</ol><p><img src=\"https://help.core.cin7.com/hc/article_attachments/18035636991119\"></p><p>You can also create an adjustment directly from the <b>Forecast adjustments</b> menu on the sales forecast graph.</p><h2>Configure change by % and set % trend</h2><p><b>Change by %</b> adjustments apply a fixed percentage increase or decrease across some period of time — for example, +15% during a sale event or -20% during a slow month.</p><p><b>Set % trend</b> adjustments apply a cumulative percentage change that compounds each month. Use this when demand is expected to grow or decline gradually over time rather than shift all at once.</p><p>To configure either adjustment type, enter the following details:</p><ul>\n<li><p><b>Location</b> — the locations where the adjustment applies</p></li>\n<li><p><b>Category</b> — the product category to apply the adjustment to</p></li>\n<li><p><b>Product</b> — the specific product to apply the adjustment to</p></li>\n<li><p><b>From / To</b> — the period when the adjustment applies</p></li>\n<li><p><b>Amount</b> — the fixed or cumulative percentage value of the adjustment</p></li>\n<li><p><b>Note</b> — an optional description</p></li>\n</ul><p>Then select <b>Save</b>.</p><h2>Configure change quantity</h2><p>Change quantity adjustments let you adjust each product's demand forecast by a fixed amount per month.</p><p>The adjustment table lists all your products with a column for each upcoming month. Each cell has an adjustment type that controls how its value is applied to the forecast:</p><ul>\n<li><p><b>Total —</b> sets the forecast for that month to an absolute quantity</p></li>\n<li><p><b>Difference —</b> adds or subtracts from the existing forecast for that month</p></li>\n</ul><p>Cells in the table can have different types. Select the <b>Adjustment type</b> before entering values — the selected type is applied to whichever cells you edit. To use a mix of types, save and change the adjustment type between edits. The calculation for each cell is shown beneath its value.</p><p>Adjustments persist between sessions and remain in place until you change or clear them.
