Restock with WMS

Restock allows the user to restock items from previously fulfilled sales using WMS on their mobile device. This will save restock information in Cin7 Core while physically restocking the items in the warehouse locations and bins.

Parallel restocking is not allowed. You cannot restock items from a sale order fulfillment if someone is already restocking items from the same order.

Prerequisites

  • Sale order to restock must have one of the following statuses:

    • Credited (restock is not authorized)

    • Invoiced (fulfillment completed)

    • Invoicing (fulfillment completed)

    • Completed

  • Credit note must be created and authorized in Cin7 Core, not WMS.

Restock items

Restock items that have been returned from your customers to place them back in your inventory for future sales.

  1. Go to Main Menu → Restock.

  2. Enter the sale order number to search for the order to restock. Orders with status Completed, Credited (restock is not authorized), Invoiced (fulfillment completed), or Invoicing (fulfillment completed) can be restocked.

  3. Select a sale order to continue and view items to restock. Tap product to open item view.

  4. Enter the name of the Bin where the items will be placed. If no bin is entered, items will be restocked to the Working area location.

  5. Enter the Item # or Scan UPC code, you may have to press Enter on your device. You will also need to enter the Batch # or Serial # if applicable. You may then select Restock all (FIFO products only) to restock all units of that item at once or Restock partially if you wish to restock some of the items later or in another bin.

  6. Tap Finish to complete the operation.

  7. WMS saves the restock details, authorizes the restock, and passes details to Cin7 Core.
