Replace BOM components
Quickly replace one BOM component with another in all affected BOMs (excluding make-to-order).

Replace does not update components in make-to-order BOMs
Select Inventory from the main menu and select Products.
Select More actions, then Replace BOM components. This will open a pop-up window.
Select an old component and new component from the dropdown fields.
Click View BOMs to see how many BOMs will be affected.
Click Replace to replace components in all affected BOMs.
Quantity, Wastage %, and Wastage quantity of a replaced component will not change. The Cost per unit will reflect the cost of the new component.
You will need to Reload BOM for an existing production order for the order to use replaced components. Reload BOM is only available for draft production orders, authorized production orders will use old components unless you undo a production order, reload the BOM, and authorize it again.
