Xero and Amazon
Amazon generates settlement reports for its sellers, providing detailed information of a seller's account activity for the settlement period. This includes a breakdown of item prices, Amazon commission fees, shipping fees, and total seller earnings. Amazon will deposit the sales money, minus charges for Amazon fees, in the seller’s Amazon account directly into the seller’s bank account approximately every two weeks.
Transactions exported from Amazon, to Cin7 Core to Xero, can be consolidated by Amazon settlement report.
If you have integrated Cin7 Core with Xero and Amazon, there are multiple ways to configure your consolidation settings for your desired outcome.
Sync only COGS, payments, or invoices to Xero
In your Amazon integration settings, set Xero synchronization mode to Sync individual sales.
In your Xero integration, go to Sale channel sync type.
Set COGS, payments, and invoices to Individual or No sync as required.
Consolidate by Amazon settlement report
In your Amazon integration settings, set Xero synchronization mode to Consolidate by Amazon settlement.
Load and process settlement report manually or automatically to create pending entries for Amazon settlement invoice and Amazon settlement COGS. This takes priority over any Xero sync settings.
Manually skip any pending sync entries you do not want to export to Xero.
