Winners & Losers

Winners & Losers shows every product in your inventory with its ForesightAI segment classification, Winner, Loser, or Chaser, alongside key performance data. Use it to review your full product range, identify priorities, and drill into individual products.

Before you start

  • Cin7 ForesightAI included in your subscription.

  • ForesightAI requires at least 6 months of sales history in Cin7 Core.

Open Winners & Losers

Go to Sales > Winners & Losers.

Filters, strategy, and export

Use the filters to focus on the products you want to review:

  • Location

  • Supplier

  • Category

  • Product

  • Segment (Winners, Losers, or Chasers)

You can also:

  • Click Export to download the current view as a CSV file

  • Click Product strategy to change your product strategy, which determines how products are classified

Segment totals and product detail

The three summary tiles at the top of the page show aggregate totals for each segment, such as product count, gross margin, and stock value. The values shown may vary depending on your strategy.

The product list shows every product with its segment classification and key metrics. The columns displayed depend on your product strategy, for example:

  • Sale price — This product's average sale price, in your store's currency

  • Inventory — This product's current stock on hand

  • Segment — Whether this product is a Winner, Chaser, or Loser, based on your strategy

  • Inventory value — The value of this product's current stock, in your store's currency

  • Gross margin, revenue, sales frequency, or sales quantity (name varies) — This product's raw value for your active strategy, in your store's currency for gross margin and revenue, or as a plain number for sales frequency and sales quantity

  • Share in … — This product's share of your total gross margin, revenue, sales frequency, or sales quantity — the metric depends on your strategy

  • Sale forecast — Opens a chart of this product's sale forecast

Select the chart icon in any row to open the sales forecast graph with that product selected.
