Sale Price History Report

This report shows sale price fluctuations for all active products during the selected time period. Price history can be further filtered by location, price tier, year, quarter, month and invoice date.

This report is only available to users with Sales Reporting permissions.

Prerequisites

Managing Cin7 Core Reports

Data from this report can be exported in Excel, PDF or RTF format.

Input:

Reporting Period	Allows the user to select the reporting period from a list of options or set a custom date range. This report is filtered by invoice date.
Currency	Allows the user to select the currency to be used in the report.
Layout	Set to the Default layout. Allows selection of saved layouts, if any.
Save Layout As	Allows saving a layout for potential future use.
Reset Layout	Resets the layout to the default layout or selected saved layout.

Select Apply Filter to set filter fields for the report and Update to refresh the output with any new changes. See Managing Cin7 Core Reports - Filtering Reports for more detailed information about using filters.

The following output fields are available for this report. You may have to open the Configure Layout menu to add some of them to your report.

FAQs

How do we find out the last time we increased a price on a product?

The Sale Price History report shows when a product was sold for a new price (and can show invoice date, invoice month or invoice quarter. There is no other current Cin7 Core feature that shows this information.

A product appears in the filter for "This year" but does not appear in the filter for "Last 366 days". Why is this happening? Shouldn't the product appear in both?

This report shows sale price fluctuations. This means that if the price changes, Cin7 Core shows the line with invoice date and price value. In this case, there were sales through the time period, but Cin7 Core only shows the earliest sale for the same price amount. For 366 days period, there was an earlier sale in 2019, so the date is shown as 2019, if you select This year, the earliest date Cin7 Core checks is January 1st 2020, so the first sale for that price was in January as shown.
