Single sign on (SSO)

Single sign on (SSO)

Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID to any of several related, yet independent, software systems, allowing the user to log in to multiple services without re-entering their authentication details. Benefits of using single sign-on include reducing password fatigue from different username and password combinations, mitigating access risks as passwords are not stored or managed externally, and more user-friendly network security.

Cin7 Core currently supports single-sign on for Google, Intuit, Xero and Microsoft accounts.

Single sign on can also be used in the following places:

  • Cin7 Core web: Google, Intuit, Xero, Microsoft

  • POS web: Google, Microsoft

  • POS application: Google, Microsoft

  • WMS application: Google, Microsoft

  • MES application: Google, Microsoft
