Ship theory if order 'shipping note' empty it then pulls 'comments' Answered
We use ship theory. By design of Cin 7 if the shipping notes box is empty it pulls customer 'comment's' as shipping instructions. The comments on the customer is the only place to write generic notes, our have also sorts of information in which we do not want on a shipping label!
Ideal scenario would be if each address under the customer profile had space for a shipping note, that would then pull onto the sales order when the shipping address was selected. This way you could have more than one note per address.
Please deactivate any rule that leads to general customer comments going on shipping labels.

thank you for your feedback and sharing your use case with us.
I agree that some customers like yourselves do not want ‘order level comments’ to be sent to Ship Theory as shipping instructions. I will add this item to our enhancement backlog to allow users the flexibility to control this.
