Timing / Cycles in Production Runs

Leigh M

The the ability to set up a production B.O.M as a single unit and then scale it as you're required without it multiplying the time. So if it takes you one hour to do 10 But it only takes you an hour and 10 minutes to do 20 The system will say it takes two hours. So there's no way to scale a production order based on a template and the hours aren't scaled. At the same rate.

So if it takes you a day to do 500 But it also would take you a day to do 1000 Because there's no real extra work. The system would say it would take two days to do that 1000 finished goods.

  • Hi Leigh,

Could you separate the set-up time and production time?  For example, it takes 3 hours for set-up and 2 hours for breakdown and only 10 minutes to produce 100 items.

    Regards,

    Stan

Hi Stan, yes you can setup multiple production steps however once you adjust the qty total to say 200 it will double the production time for all setup steps.  Not a true time to adjust how much time it actually takes to produce as stated above.
