Graduated pricing/POS barcodes

It would be great if there as some sort of dynamic margin/graduated pricing on the POS for a sliding margin depending on what quantity is taken or if the barcodes can work on a Code 128 where there is more space to allocate variables for external software such as scales.

The price tiers are not useful for this and adding more complexity to SKU are not viable for retail.
