A feature where you can update the descriptions of the main SKU without changing the descriptions of the other SKUs under the same family.

The customer explains that it is good to have a feature where when toggle on the descriptions of the family member products do not get updated, once the main family description updated.

THis issues is not just related to the description fields, it refers to fields like UOM, Revenue accounts, stock acccounts and COGS accounts and others. Overwriting any of these fields from teh product family is from time to time a useful feature, but at other times is highly inappropriate because the individual products may have been customised.
To overwrite the fields from the product family data WITHOUT prompting is a bad idea because it may mean things are changed unexpectedly with follow on consequences that are hard to detect and VERY labour intensive to fix.
