Margin to be included in Reports

It would be useful if the Margin (currently visible on a sales quote) to be a field that can be added to reports. I currently have to do this manually in excel once I export a csv but would be much more useful if available as a field. Thanks.

    Agreed, this would be very useful. 

    Alternatively, would it be possible to have a extra fields where you can do simple operations using existing columns. This could be used to show margin / markup or anything else, and would also be more robust. 

    In my use case, we have an additional attribute field under sales orders where we manually add the ‘cost of freight for goods sold’. We currently export reports to excel and do the math ourselves to establish correct COGS. It would be an awesome feature if we could do this in reports directly. 

    Write any formula directly in reports!

    In my use case it would be (SALES - (COGS + ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTE 1 ‘Freight Cost’) / SALES) = MARGIN

    Bonus points if you can change the color of certain cells based on greater than / less than value. :)

     

    Hoping a dev sees this and decides its worth implementing :'D
