Core POS transfer - send stock
Transfers in Core POS have significantly reduced functionality compared to transfers in Cin7 Core. The lack of these features makes transfers in Core POS nearly redundant. All that would be required to fix this issue is to duplicate the relevant fields from Cin7 Core to the POS transfer window.
- Send stock: in Cin7 Core users can can use the ‘send stock’ function to allocate items to transfers. Without this function in POS transfers are simply created as drafts and stock is not allocated to transfers, instead remaining in stock at the origin location until the transfer is completed upon receipt at the destination - this leads to errors on all tasks relating to stock availability.
- Reference field: In Cin7 Core users can add references / comments via specific fields. This function is not available in POS which leads to transfers lacking critical information. This point was previously raised under feature request “POS transfer - reference/comment field”.

Try the WMS app and see if this works better than POS for you. Working for us, but mainly receiving items. Can build an order, but the staff member needs permissions for other locations.
