Add the option to make a bin non-pickable

fredrik

There should be the option to make a bin non-pickable and have all the inventory in that bin be put into pending status so it does not count towards our store inventory.

Common use cases for this include quarantining inventory which may have a quality control issue and/or being able to create bins where you can store items which aren't necessarily sold but transferred internally

    Hi Fredrik,

Our workaround for this was to setup another Location that is not visible to customers.  We manually transfer stock to this location if its not sellable due to a QC issue or incomplete and awaiting repair etc.  This way we know they are there, but Customers can’t see the stock as available.

    It works well this way.

Having bins that are not selling locations would work for us but in a different meaning, we want pick and reserve location bins, so on the WMS app the orders can only be picked from current pick locations and the reserve stock in the pallet racking cannot be used. This would increase our batch control as only the batch in the pick bin could be used. Same for production orders.

I support the idea of a ‘quarantine’ status for a bin. Currently we workaround it as above by having a separate Location, but this would be a better solution.

Agree on needing something for marking items as being in quarantine and further some status in quarantine like ready for QC, released, failed, mrb, etc.
