Cin 7 asks for more information than our courier core and WMS

We have tried using the pack function on the WMS and we have investigated the pack function on Core but Cin7 asks for more information than required, we do not need box sizes or what is packed in each box for our courier, therefore we are entering duplicate information our courier and us don't need. Can there not be options to generate labels by just entering total consignment weight and number of boxes, this is all that's required from our courier as we are on consignment rate. Can there be options in the setting to select what options are entered?
