Bin location/Transfers

Hello, 

Could you please simply the bin location?

When we need to add a bin location, we have to  create a TRANSFER. This is so much work, especially when you have products already on pre-book. We have to undo th eorder then re-create it. Sometimes the order is split in 2 orders. So many mistakes can happen. This is not normal.

We should be able to add directly a bin number and quantities for each bin.

please add this feature as this is too much time consuming and so many mistakes happen. This can't stay that way.

    You can use Stock Locator field instead, and then the default bin location for all products is just "Warehouse". Stock Locator is a free text field, if this is more appropriate for your company.

    The OP needs to use Advanced Purchase Order. Then you will have two tabs under stock receiving. 

    • Stock Received Tab is to verify the quantities - can be done electronically on the web platform or via the WMS
    • Put Away Tab is to record where the stock was placed. The WMS lets you scan existing bin locations or add new bin locations, can also be done on the web platform

    If you use Simple PO, then all stock goes to the main warehouse location, and you need to complete bin transfers.

    Adv PO also works for split consignments - ie you receive half the stock on Monday and the other have on Wednesday etc.
