WMS Auto Consume on Picking

Unlike on the MES, why can the WMS not auto consume with a pick? Once you have entered/scanned to confirm the SKU, can (by default) the WMS not pick the full amount to be picked? It only selects one item by default. I appreciate the app may not be intelligent enough to know how much is in the location, although it should be able to as it can report this on the stock lookup, however, it should be easy enough to write the script to equal the pick in full. Ideally, it would know what is in each location and autofill by fifo ruling, where this is set. Another quick easy win for an upgrade.
