Feature Request - Reports - Products Reordering Report - Add Additional header options
Hi Guys,
Hope all is well. Can we please get 2 additional header options for the Products Reordering Report?
- I'm not sure about what everyone else is doing, but when we create a Purchase Order for our products with a manufacturing plant, we need to provide them our product labels - for all the items on the PO.
- We find the Products Reordering Report handy, because we can use this report to filter by supplier, export it and use this excel database in labelling software
- But if possible, we'd like to have some additional header options to access the data that is stored in Cin7, being the following two;
- Barcode → This is required in order to create the graphic/barcode for product labels
- Supplier SKU → Is required to help manufacturing plant match their internal skus, to our product labels
- The rest of the header options (Title with Size*, SKU) are already in the report
Our current process is;
- Create new products
- Create the PO in Cin7
- Open the Cin7 Products Reordering Report → Filter by supplier → Export to Excel
- Manually create a column for Barcode → Copy/paste the barcodes manually from Cin7 for each SKU (as this header is not available in the report)
- Manually create a column for Size → Cin7 adds the size into the Product Title (not sure why but has always done this), but we need the size seperate, so we just delete it from the title and create a size column and manually enter it in for each SKU.
- Manually create a column for Supplier SKU → Copy/paste supplier code manually from Cin7 for each SKU (as this header is not available in the report)
- Once all that is done, we use this database to create the Product Labels as we now have all the information we need
- I assume nothing can be done regarding the size being added into the Product Title, so I think we'll continue with manually seperating it
- But adding the Barcode and Supplier SKU header options should be do-able without much effort / fuss and would be extremely helpful and go a long way to avoiding errors made when trying to copy/paste this data manually

You can add Easy Insight directly in Cin7 Core by going to the Marketplace section - see screenshot below.
Not after a third party subscription for 2 data headers and for data that is inside Cin7, like come on…
Just trying to help. My point is Easy Insight is great custom reporting to use for Cin7 data while Cin7's reporting module is limited to how they have configured it. And any time we (me/my clients) start doing VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP in a spreadsheet for some reason, it is a trigger to consider if Easy Insight would be worth using to automate that report.
