Cin7 Core POS - View Product/Customer Discounts by %

Currently Cin7 Core POS does not have the ability to show percentage-based discounts for individual products pulled from Cin7 Core (both on the App and Browser). Rather only as decimal values taken off the actual product value. This means that frontline staff are required to calculate the discounts in front of their customers, rather than knowing exactly what percentage has pulled from Core and is applied to different products, customers, etc.
This enhancement is quite important for the day-to-day operations at the POS. We’ve configured numerous customer-specific discounts and deals within the Cin7 Core backend. These include:
- Percentage-based discounts at both product and category levels
- Flat-rate pricing on selected items for certain customers
- Customer-specific pricing for recurring deals
Given the complexity and variety of these setups, it becomes highly impractical for front counter staff to manually calculate or enter discount percentages at the POS while customers are waiting. Displaying the applicable discount % or special price directly on the POS interface at the time of sale would significantly reduce errors, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
Below are screenshots, of product based discounts in Core and the corresponding POS implementation of that percentage but as a decimal value. Having the options to change this decimal value to a discount % would be greatly beneficial.
