Ability to track COGS details over time

A feature that allows you to track different COGS components over time would be very helpful. For instance, if you have a widget with input costs, product costs, freight, costs, warehousing costs, packaging costs, etc., and your COGS expenses are going up, there is no way to determine why. You cant figure out what inputs into COGS are driving the increase because everything is just dumped into one bucket.
