Feature Request – Allow Opportunities to Convert Directly to Sales Orders When “Skip Quote” Is Enabled

Summary / Description:
The customer reports that when converting an Opportunity to a Sale, the “Skip Quote” setting does not function as expected. Although the setting is enabled, the checkbox appears greyed out, and the system still generates a Quote instead of creating a Sales Order directly.

This behavior creates operational issues, as undoing the resulting Sale can cause inconsistencies or disruptions due to the unnecessary intermediate Quote stage.

The customer is requesting that Opportunities—with “Skip Quote” enabled—be allowed to convert directly into a Sales Order, mirroring the behavior seen when creating a Custom Sale and selecting the “Skip Quote” option.
