Ability to Disable Syncing of All Manual Journals to QBO/Xero

Summary

Add a global setting that allows users to stop all manual journals from syncing automatically to Xero or QuickBooks Online.

Current Behaviour

At present, Cin7 Core only allows users to stop Sales COGS journals from syncing automatically.
All other manual journals will sync to Xero/QBO unless each one is manually skipped before the sync occurs.

Problem

This creates a significant usability and accounting risk:

• Users must manually review and skip every individual manual journal
• This often involves working through a long list of journals, which is time-consuming and frustrating
• If a journal is missed, it syncs to Xero/QBO and can throw financials out of balance
• Errors may only be noticed later, requiring manual corrections in the accounting platform

For users who frequently create manual journals, this process is inefficient and prone to mistakes.

Proposed Improvement

Introduce a global toggle or setting to:

• Prevent all manual journals from syncing automatically to Xero/QBO
• Allow users to explicitly choose which journals to sync, rather than opting out one by one

This could work similarly to the existing Sales COGS sync control, but applied across all manual journals.

Benefits

• Reduces risk of incorrect accounting data syncing
• Saves significant time for users managing high journal volumes
• Improves confidence in accounting integrations
• Aligns with best practices by making syncing an opt-in rather than opt-out process

Use Case

Cin7 Core relies on manual journals for internal adjustments and reporting purposes and some users do not want these entries reflected in Xero/QBO. The current workflow makes it easy to miss a journal, resulting in inaccurate financial reporting.
