Additional Product Custom Fields (More than 10)

We would like the ability to have more than 10 custom fields on products so we can store detailed product specifications directly in Cin7 and pass those specifications to our factories when they receive our POs.

Today, because of the custom field limit, we are forced to maintain product specifications in separate Google Docs and then link those documents inside Cin7. This creates several inefficiencies:

• We are managing product data across multiple systems instead of a single source of truth.
• Cin7 custom fields have character limits, which prevents us from storing full specifications directly.
• Our workaround requires creating a Google Doc for each product, copying the URL, shortening it using a third-party service (Bitly or similar), and then pasting the shortened link into Cin7.
• This adds ongoing administrative overhead and introduces additional points of failure.

Allowing more custom product fields and ideally higher character limits would enable Cin7 customers to store product requirements and specifications directly within the product record. This would significantly reduce reliance on external documents and URL shortening services, streamline workflows, and improve data accuracy for both internal teams and suppliers.

We believe this enhancement would provide meaningful value to Cin7 customers who manage purchasing, sourcing, and product specifications.
