Disable Templates
It would be helpful if default templates could be hidden/archived from view. For example, I have created custom invoice template, which shows up when I am printing/emailing it. However the dropdown also shows the default invoice template. I can delete a custom invoice template, but I'm unable to do so for a default template. I don't really want to delete the default template, but I don't want it showing up on the dropdown menus. If there was a way to “hide” the default template, that would accomplish the job while still keeping it in the system for future reference/use.

It would definitely be helpful to have the option to disable templates directly. Since document and email templates are managed in Settings → Document and email templates, having a simple toggle to deactivate them could simplify workflows for many users. Wheelie Life
Agreed, this would be a very nice feature to have. At least to reduce the mental effort for every document “printed” because only the valid choices would be present in the list. But also for error proofing because it prevents the wrong template being used by mistake.
