A global search of all report titles and description in Cin7 Core would help a lot
Currently, the Reports module only allows browsing reports by category, and the search function is limited to each report category. This makes it time-consuming and difficult to discover or find reports, especially for less frequently used ones. I’d like a proper global string search within the Reports area that can:
- Search across all report names from one place
- Show results in a single list with the report’s category and a short description
This would significantly improve usability for day-to-day users and admins, reduce training time for new staff, and help people discover underused reports that already exist in the system.

I completely agree with the need for a global search feature in the Reports module! Having the ability to search across all report titles and descriptions would be a game-changer. It reminds me of the stickman hook concept—just like how the hook pulls everything together, a global search would streamline the process of finding reports, making it much easier for users to access the information they need.
