Etsy Integration Not Importing Shipping Addresses. Anyone Else Experiencing This?
Hi everyone, I'm looking for others who have run into this issue or found a fix.
We use CIN7 with Etsy and ShipStation. Etsy orders imported into CIN7 are coming in with null values for all shipping address fields — name, address, city, state, zip, country. Everything is blank.
Because of this, we can't generate ShipStation labels through CIN7. We've had to resort to running ShipStation directly from the Etsy channel as a workaround, which defeats the purpose of having CIN7 as our central hub.
What we know so far:
- CIN7 support pulled raw API data for a specific order and confirmed the address fields are arriving as null from Etsy
- Etsy support says it's CIN7's problem
- ShipStation, also connected to our Etsy store, pulls address data on the same orders just fine
- We have an open support ticket with no resolution yet
We're currently pushing CIN7 to investigate whether the issue is related to:
- OAuth scopes / permissions not including address data
- Their integration not being updated for Etsy's v3 API
- Not making a secondary API call to the individual receipt endpoint where address data lives
Has anyone else experienced this? Did you find a fix or a better workaround? Would love to know if this is widespread or isolated to our account.
