Anyone else have issues with the Shopify reauth pulling in old orders?

dallis

We had a cutoff date (our launch date) set in the integration. The latest update (I presume) called for an unexpected reauth. It was just a one button click. The reauth ignored our cutoff date and brought in years worth of prior sales. New sales have since consumed some assemblies built by these old (unfulfilled orders) making voiding them not possible.

Are we the only ones?

    Hi there,

Are you able to provide your account details or the support ticket number associated with the issue you're experiencing?

The recent changes to the "Update your Shopify" connection are unrelated to the issue you've described.

We do have an upcoming fix for a known issue where historical orders are being pulled in when a refund is processed after the lock date. This fix may or may not resolve the issue you're seeing.

Providing your account details and any additional information about the problem will allow us to investigate further and determine whether the upcoming fix is related to your case or if a separate issue needs to be addressed.

    Thanks,

This is unrelated to any refunds processed after the lock date, I setup an integration for a client a couple weeks ago and over 200 sales orders came through dating a year prior to the lock date and none of them had refunds issued.  Have also seen this issue happen multiple times.

Thanks Todd, I agree and I've seen the refund issue. I'm more surprised that support is saying there is no fix and I should do a stocktake. Huh?

    A) No explanation of how this occured and

    B) These orders are hitting allocated status. How many other things does that impact? Smart Reorder? Stockout?

    Hi Dallis and Todd,

yes, there are 2 variations of the issue.  One with refunds and others without.  It is important that we investigate your case carefully to determine whether our fix will address your specific issue.

I have asked our Support Manager to help you out and he'll reach out to you shortly.

    Many thanks,
