Feature Request - WMS - Setttings - Add a toggle button for automatic screen record

Hi Cin7 Team,

I am writing to submit a feature request for the Cin7 WMS mobile application that we believe would significantly streamline the troubleshooting and bug-reporting process for both our team and yours.

The Problem

Currently, when a warehouse user encounters an intermittent bug or an unexpected issue on the WMS, it is difficult to accurately reconstruct the exact sequence of events. Users often cannot recall every specific events that led to the issue. As a result, I end up spending a considerable amount of time investigating and trying to replicate and recreate these scenarios to pinpoint whether the root cause is a system bug or a user workflow error.

Proposed Feature Request / Solution

We would love to see a toggle switch added to the WMS app settings that allows for automatic screen recording exclusively while the Cin7 app is active.

  • How it would work: When enabled, the app would record the user's screen during their active session.
  • The Benefit: If an error or problem occurs, the user or administrator can simply export the recorded video file from the users phone. This would provide your development team and our internal team with an exact, visual step-by-step history of the event, eliminating guesswork and dramatically speeding up resolution times.

We believe this feature would be an incredibly powerful diagnostic tool for all Cin7 WMS enterprise users, ultimately leading to faster ticket resolutions and less downtime.

I hope the above makes sense and is possible, it would help us going forward enormously, save us a significant amount of time and lead to faster resolutions.
