The Cin7 Core Community is for customers, partners, our product team, and others to come together, share information, and receive advice. Here are some guidelines for getting the most out of your time here.

1. Post in the right topic
The best way to get an answer from someone who can help you is to make sure your post is in the right topic. We have10 topics to cover all of Cin7 Core’s areas, plus a dedicated topic for feature requests. Our product team members engage with their area of responsibility regularly – so, if you have questions or ideas about sales, make a post in the sales topic!

2. Use tags
Relate your post to a specific area using tags. Tags classify a Community post and make sure that the right people get to see it. This will make it easier for you to get advice in a timely manner and share information with businesses like yourself. Select as many tags as you need from the “Related to” list.

3. Be specific
Are you looking for a workaround for a common use case? Checking if an error is a misunderstanding or a bug? Suggesting a new feature? Sharing an efficient sales workflow? If you are looking for the community’s help, describe your business needs or challenges in clear terms so that everyone can easily understand. Let us know if you are a customer or a partner so we can tailor the advice. The more specific you are with your post, the better we can respond with a solution.

4. Add screenshots
A picture can say a thousand words. Taking screenshots or a quick screen recording video (Loom and Vidyard both work well) can make it easier for other members to understand exactly what you are trying to describe.

5. Be courteous
Problems – whether as a result of business or software – are frustrating, but staying courteous makes sure we all have a better experience. Keep posts on topic and free of personal information, avoid spam or advertisements, and be polite to other users. Personal attacks and harassment are never acceptable. Check out our Code of Conduct for more advice!

The Cin7 Core Community is where customers, partners, Cin7 employees, and more can come together to collaborate, share information, solve business problems, and ultimately optimize business workflows.
