Cin7 Core is not looking to integrate with 3PLs in the near term. We do however have preferred partners who can help you with you integrate your Ship Hero into Core in a seemless and automated way.
Hi Charlie, we handled it using serverless functions on AWS. It included product create, POs insert/update*/receive, TO insert/send/receive, SO insert/update/ship, and adjustments.
The Product integration does some basic hygiene checks and fixes on the barcode and converts the weights to grams based on the units in Cin7 Core. This needs to be tuned based on which system is believed to be more accurate with its data.
POs once inserted can only have existing line quantities updated, there isn't a add/remove line API for ShipHero at this stage.
TOs get inserted either as PO (incoming) or SO (outgoing) documents.
SOs get inserted, can have lines added or removed on update and with then pick/pack/ship (if stock is available in Cin7 Core).
Adjustments are only possible at the end of the day by filtering the inventory movement report for certain types of transactions.
We also implemented sending warning and error notifications to MS Teams and have done Slack integration before as well.
