MES task list

MES task list

All tasks assigned to you are displayed on the task list. From here, you can view production operations assigned to your selected work centers and their details. Open each task to carry out the production operation, including consuming components, suspending operations, and adding notes.

Any actions you take in MES will be communicated to Cin7 Core and vice versa.

Prerequisites

  • Advanced Manufacturing must be added to your organization's plan.

  • Work centers must be defined in Cin7 Core and selected in your work center settings.

  • Production run must be Released in Cin7 Core for its operations to be visible in your task list. If a released production order is Completed, Undone or Voided, it will be removed from the task list.

  • Today's tasks

  • Tomorrow's tasks (if tomorrow is a weekend, you will see all tasks between the end of the current day and the start of the next working day here.)

Any tasks that you can't start yet, for example if the task requires a previous task to be completed first, are shown faded and you won't be able to select them. Pull the device screen or switch from one tab to another to refresh the task list.
