I can't log in to Cin7 Core
If you can't log in to Cin7 Core, you will find common troubleshooting steps in this article.
Before troubleshooting login issues, check the Cin7 Status Page for any outages. If there is an outage stopping users from logging in, wait until it's fixed and then log in.
Authenticator app and code issues
You may have issues with the authenticator app or authenticator codes used to log in to Cin7 Core. For example:
Your authentication code doesn't work.
The time on your device is incorrect, causing time-based codes to fail.
You have other issues with your authenticator app.
Try these troubleshooting steps in order:
-
Reset time synchronization on your device and authenticator app:
Android: Go to your date and time settings and turn on automatic date and time. If it's on, turn it off and on again.
iOS: Go to your date and time settings and turn on automatic date and time. If it's on, turn it off and on again.
Authenticator app: If your authenticator app has an automatic date and time setting, ensure it's turned on. If it's on, turn it off and on again.
Restart your device and retry logging in. If your verification code still doesn't work, continue.
Clear your browser’s cache
Restart your device and retry logging in.
Lost phone or device
If you've lost access to your authenticator and can't generate an authentication code, reset two-factor authentication (2FA).
Forgot your password
You can reset your password from the login screen without contacting support.
Click Forgot password?
Enter your Email address.
Click Send reset link.
You'll receive an email with a link (Reset your password). Click the link and follow the on-screen instructions.
Incorrect email or password
If you see the error "Your email or password was incorrect. Please try again," double-check that you're entering the correct email address. If the error persists, reset your password and try again.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) setup issues
You may have trouble setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) if you're reusing an old user's email address. If this happens, reset two-factor authentication (2FA) for that email address.
