Configure transaction sync for sales channels

Configure how transactions from your sales channels (invoices, COGS, and payments) are consolidated for Xero. This setting does not affect other types of transactions, such as purchase invoices.

Amazon setting Xero synchronization mode: Consolidate by Amazon settlement takes priority over all Xero sync and consolidation settings. See Xero and Amazon if you use both platforms with Cin7 Core.

Sale channel sync type is a table where you can each of your connected sales channels with its sync type for invoices (sale invoices and credit notes), COGs, and payments. You can select Individual, Daily consolidate, Monthly consolidate, or No sync for each sales channel and transaction from this table.

Transactions not listed in this table are not affected by consolidation or turning off sales channel sync.
Sale manual journal sync type will always match a channel’s invoice sync type.

Turn off sale channel sync

Turn off synchronization for a whole sales channel, or just some types of transactions.

  1. Select Integrations from the main menu, then Xero.

  2. Go to Sync options and then Sale channel sync type.

  3. Set the sync type as No sync for the sale channel and transaction type. Transactions will be visible in your sync history, but marked as Skipped.

Sync sale channel transactions individually

Syncing transactions individually is the default export setting for all sales channels and transaction types.

  1. Select Integrations from the main menu, then Xero.

  2. Go to Sync options and then Sale channel sync type.

  3. Set the sync type as Individual for the sale channel and transaction type. .
