Company and contact settings

Manage your Cin7 Core account by adding business addresses and contacts.

Prerequisites

Company addresses

Create a record for each of your company’s billing, shipping, and business addresses. Then easily add them to documents for customers. Your default addresses are added automatically. You can choose different addresses for individual documents.

To open your company’s addresses:

  1. From the Settings menu in the navigation, open Reference Books.

  2. Under Your Company, open Company Addresses.

To add a new company address:

  1. Click add (+). A new row will appear.

  2. On the new row, enter:

    • Line 1

    • Line 2 (optional)

    • City / Suburb

    • State / Province

    • Zip / Postcode

    • Country

    • Type

  3. Optionally, select Default.

  4. Click Save.

To edit an address, edit the relevant field and then click Save. To delete an address, click delete (X) for that address and then Yes, delete it!

To export your company addresses to a CSV file, click Export. To view historical changes to your company addresses, open the Activity Log.

Company contacts (mailing lists, sales commissions)

Create a record for each of your company’s sales, billing, shipping, business, and employee contacts. Then easily add contact information to documents for customers. Your default contacts’ information is added automatically. You can choose different contact information for individual documents.

You must create at least one default billing contact. We send that contact the invoice for your Cin7 Core subscription. You can add contacts to mailing lists and define their sales commissions too.

To open your company’s contacts:

  1. From the Settings menu in the navigation, open Reference Books.

  2. Under Your Company, open Company Contacts.

To add a new company contact:

  1. Click add (+). A new row will appear.

  2. On the new row, enter the contact’s:

    • Name

    • Phone

    • Fax

    • Email

    • Website

    • Mailing lists

    • Sales commission

    • Type

  3. Optionally, select Default.

  4. Click Save.

To edit a contact, edit the relevant field and then click Save. To delete a contact, click delete (X) for that contact and then Yes, delete it!

To export your company contacts to a CSV file, click Export. To view historical changes to your company contacts, open the Activity Log.

Switch accounts

If you belong to more than one Cin7 Core account, switch between them by opening the account menu and selecting which account to switch to.
