Sales in HubSpot

Sales in HubSpot

Synchronize sales between HubSpot and Cin7 Core. You can sync sales in either direction, but not both at the same time. Map sale statuses in Cin7 Core to deal stages in HubSpot to trigger import or export at the right time for your business.

See Introduction to the sales module for more information about how sales are managed in Cin7 Core
See Deals for more information about deals in Hubspot.

Prerequisites

Access sales

Access sales in your Cin7 Core account.

  1. Select Integrations from the main menu, then HubSpot.

  2. Select the Sales tab. This will look different depending on your sync direction, Export to HubSpot or Import from HubSpot.

Export sales

The From Cin7 Core sub-tab is visible on the Sales tab if the sync direction is set to Export to HubSpot.

HubSpot’s API does not support negative quantities and prices. Cin7 Core sales with negative sale lines will not be exported to HubSpot.

View, filter, and search for your sales in Cin7 Core from here. Sales appear in this list as soon as a quote is created. Click Refresh to make sure the sales list has the most recent information from Cin7 Core

New sale orders where Cin7 Core status is mapped to a HubSpot deal stage will be exported automatically when they reach this stage. When sales change status in Cin7 Core, this updates the deal stage in HubSpot. When sale synchronization is set to Export to HubSpot, updating the deal stage in Hubspot changes the sale status in Cin7 Core.

If auto-sync is enabled, any new sales or changes in sale status will be automatically exported to HubSpot according to the frequency specified by your auto-sync settings. Export new and modified sales manually with Start.    New customers and products associated with a sale will be exported to HubSpot automatically in the same operation. If one of these entities fails to export, this causes an error and skips the sale export.

You can export optional sales fields from Cin7 Core as properties on HubSpot; see Link HubSpot and Cin7 Core sales fields.

Import sales from HubSpot

The To Cin7 Core sub-tab is visible on the Sales tab if the sync direction is set to Import from HubSpot.

If you have HubSpot sales already imported, they will be listed here. If not, the screen will be blank. View, filter, and search for your sales from here. Click Refresh to make sure the sales list has the most recent information.

If auto-sync is enabled, any new HubSpot deals will be imported automatically. Click Download sales to import deals manually from HubSpot into Cin7 Core as sales. A pop-up window will appear to confirm the date from which you wish to import orders. Orders created on or after the selected date and which have reached the trigger stage specified in Link HubSpot deal stages and Cin7 Core sale statuses will be imported. HubSpot deals which have not reached the trigger stage will not be imported.

If sales information is imported from Hubspot, then customer information and product information are automatically imported as well.

Cin7 Core loads deals from HubSpot only once when deal reaches the selected trigger stage. Changing the deal stage in HubSpot for any deal that has already been imported does not change the sale status in Cin7 Core.
Cin7 Core will create the imported sale with one of 4 statuses: Estimating, Estimated, Ordering, Ordered. Other Cin7 Core sale statuses are not supported – this is because they require shipping and payment information to authorize in Cin7 Core which are not mandatory fields in HubSpot. See Map customer and sale properties between Cin7 Core and HubSpot for more information.
