HubSpot Integration

Synchronize your sales, customers, and products between Cin7 Core and HubSpot.

Cin7 Core uses the Beta Associations API for our integration with HubSpot; this lets our users take full advantage of HubSpot’s new features as they are released. You will need to enroll in HubSpot Beta (free for paid accounts) from your HubSpot account.

Prerequisites

  • Sign up to HubSpot Sales Hub (Professional subscription)

    • Enroll in HubSpot Beta API for access to all features

  • You need the Integration: HubSpot permission in order to use this feature.

  • One available External integration license on your subscription, or purchase an additional license from the My subscription page.

Connect to HubSpot

First, you must connect Cin7 Core to your HubSpot account. Only one HubSpot account can be connected at a time. You will need to add an External integration to your subscription if you do not have one available already.

  1. Select Integrations from the main menu, then HubSpot.

  2. Click Connect to go to HubSpot.

  3. Eenter your HubSpot account login details.

  4. Click Grant access button. You will then be taken back to Cin7 Core.

  5. In Cin7 Core, click Continue setup to move on to the next step.

  6. Enable Synchronization status button to activate synchronization with HubSpot and make the integration settings visible.

Settings

Customize your HubSpot integration settings, including synchronization direction, auto-synchronization, and more.

Next, you should map customer and sale properties between Cin7 Core and HubSpot for smooth import and export of these entities.

Products

Synchronize products to and from HubSpot. List or download new products, link matching products between the two platforms, and update products with any changes in information.

Customers

Customers in Cin7 Core are equivalent to companies in HubSpot. Synchronize customers and their contacts between the two platforms.

Sales

Synchronize sales between HubSpot and Cin7 Core. You can sync sales in either direction, but not both at the same time. Map sale statuses in Cin7 Core to deal stages in HubSpot to trigger import or export at the right time for your business.

Log

See all details of previous synchronization with Hubspot.

  1. Select Integrations from the main menu, then HubSpot.

  2. Select the Log tab.

Each time you, another user, or Cin7 Core downloads sales, products, or customers the appropriate record is added to the operations log, which also contains information about results of downloading, including the date, time, count of downloaded and updated items, and whether the action was performed manually or automatically by the system. Press Refresh to refresh the log history with the most recent information.

Errors which occur during sync will be logged here with an explanation of the likely cause. Some errors will contain a link to a downloadable xls file where you can find further details.

 

Data analytics

HubSpot provides data analytics tracking for related external websites with some of its subscriptions. Users using the B2B portal can track customer traffic to the B2B pages, please see Set up Cin7 Core B2B Portal for more information.

 

Disconnect from Hubspot

At the bottom of the Setup tab, click Disconnect from HubSpot to completely disconnect HubSpot from Cin7 Core. This will remove all links and mapping, however, it will not remove any products, customers or sales from HubSpot.
