Scheduling sale deliveries
Sales may be made through Cin7 Core that will be delivered to the customer later. This feature allows the merchant to set up a delivery calendar with delivery days and schedule deliveries, view a calendar of scheduled deliveries, and mark deliveries as completed. Additionally, users can print delivery schedules.
Users can view the delivery schedule with their assigned tasks, mark delivery tasks as complete, and attach proof of delivery from Cin7 Core WMS. See WMS Delivery Schedule for more information.

Setup delivery calendar
The delivery calendar defines what days delivery tasks can be scheduled and how many delivery timeslots are available. If all timeslots for a delivery day are booked, no more deliveries can be scheduled on that day.
Delivery calendar applies to one location only. You will need to add a delivery calendar to all locations where you wish to use the Delivery Scheduling feature.
Set default hours and delivery days
The first step is to set working hours for a default delivery day and days for a default delivery week. This is done from the Locations page.
Go to Settings → Reference Books → Locations and Bins and select a location.
Go to the Delivery Calendar tab.
Enter the No. of deliveries per day and the Delivery time interval in minutes.
Click Delivery scheduling to open a a pop-up window, then click Calendar settings.
From the drop-down list, select the day of the week on which the workweek starts.
Open the Select weekend days drop-down list. Click on a day of the week to mark it as a weekend (weekend days are displayed in grey).

Set the start time, end time and break for each day of the week by clicking on the field for that day. Calendar only allows for one break per day. You can click the copy icon at the end of a row to apply the hours from that row to all weekdays.
Start is the time when the working day starts, in the format hh:mm. The Start time can't be later than the End time. The field accepts any values for hours from 0 to 24, for minutes from 0 to 60.
End is the time when the working day ends, in the format hh:mm. The End time can't be earlier than the Start time. The field accepts any values for hours from 0 to 24, for minutes from 0 to 60.
Break is the time period for the break, in the format hh:mm - hh:mm. The Start of the break can't be later than the End of the break. The fields accept any values for hours from 0 to 24, for minutes from 0 to 60.
Click Apply changes to close the pop-up window.
Save your changes.
Set holidays and days off
The calendar for the year is shown on the left side of the calendar screen. Holidays are shown in a list on the right.
Click days in the calendar to add holiday entries to the right. You can also add holidays by clicking the + button and entering a date.
Enter an optional holiday description.
Holidays can be deleted by clicking the X button to the right of the entry. Holiday dates and descriptions can be edited by clicking on their name field.
Save changes to finish.
Set custom delivery hours
Cin7 Core allows you to set custom delivery hours for some days of the year.
Click the + button next to Custom working hours to add a date and set its custom operational hours.
Custom working hours can be deleted by clicking the X button to the right of the entry. Custom hours can be edited by clicking on their name field.
Save changes to finish.
Schedule a delivery
Each item in a sale is considered a delivery item. One or more delivery items can be grouped together into a delivery task, which includes a delivery date and time. Number of deliveries per day and available time slots are configured when you Setup delivery calendar.
Deliveries can be scheduled directly from a sale, from the notifications view, or from the task calendar view.
Undoing or voiding a sale removes any associated delivery tasks.
Schedule from a sale
If the tasks module is enabled, the tasks icon to appear at the top-right of the order screen for most Cin7 Core processes. Use + to assign a delivery task.
Enter a Name for the task and choose a date and time. Select Category: Delivery, and Save the task. You can now click Delivery Items to open the delivery window.
Click + to add products from the sale to the delivery task. You can only add as many items as are part of the sale. You will not be able to add a delivery task if there are no more available delivery slots for the day. Save and Close the window to return the task, and save the task to add it to the task calendar.
Schedule from notifications or calendar
Users can also add delivery tasks to the calendar through the Calendar or Notifications icons in the top toolbar. From here, click New Task.
Enter a Name for the task and choose a date and time. Select Category: Delivery, Entity type: Sale order, select an Entity instance, and Save the task. You can now click Delivery Items to open the delivery window.
Click + to add products from the sale to the delivery task. You can only add as many items as are part of the sale. You will not be able to add a delivery task if there are no more available delivery slots for the day. Save and Close the window to return the task, and save the task to add it to the task calendar.
View delivery calendar
Click the Calendar icon in the top toolbar to open the calendar.
Delivery tasks are displayed on the task calendar with tasks relating to other items.
Mark delivery as complete
Click on a task, via the Calendar, task icon on a sale, or via notifications window, to open it. Click Complete to mark the delivery as completed.
