External fulfillment and 3PL Providers

Many Cin7 Core customers use third-party logistics (3PL) for their distribution an fulfillment needs. You can use Fulfillment by Amazon as an integration with Cin7 Core. For other 3PL connections, you can use 3PL connect or the Cin7 Core API.

Alternatively, you can manually export a 3PL Shipment List from the Sales page to give to your 3PL provider. This downloads information required by 3PL providers in .csv format

3PL connect

You can connect a 3PL to Cin7 Core by purchasing the 3PL Connect option in your CIn7 Core subscription.

After purchasing, you can find your API key by opening Integrations and then API. Our team will then contact you with next steps for connecting your 3PL.

Export 3PL shipment list

The 3PL Shipment List is downloaded from the Sales → Sales screen. On this screen, select more than one sale in order to display the Bulk Actions toolbar. Select Export → Export 3PL Shipment List to export a .csv file with information for your 3PL supplier.      

Note: Only orders where Ship has been authorized will be exported to the CSV file. Orders where only Pick or Pack has been authorized will not be exported. To save time, you can select all sales and only those with Ship status authorized will be exported to the shipment list.

The 3PL Shipment List consists of the following fields exported from the Cin7 Core sale:

  • Sale Order Number

  • Ship By Date

  • Product SKU

  • Product Description

  • Quantity

  • BSN (Batch/serial number)

  • Expiry date

  • Customer

  • Customer Contact

  • Customer Phone

  • Customer Email

  • Shipping Address Line 1

  • Shipping Address Line 2

  • Shipping City/Suburb

  • Shipping State/Province

  • Shipping Country

  • Shipping Postcode

  • Barcode

  • Notes (from sale document header)

  • Carrier

  • Invoice Memo

  • Ship to Company

  • Ship to Contact

  • Shipping Notes
