Thanks so much for your reply, we really appreciate you sharing your insight. This would definitely be the recommended solution to the problem Sylvia mentioned above. In fact this report will not only give you an accurate snapshot into stock for a selected date, but can also be manipulated in order to provide snapshots of stock movement throughout a desired date range.
To further elaborate on the process to set up this report successfully:
First navigate to your Cin7 Core account
Select Reports from the lefthand menu
Next select Inventory Reports
Select Movements Summary
Change the “Date Range” field to Custom
Select your desired date or date range
A few Key points of data in this report:
Unit Cost - This is the sum of all stock on hand for the date range of the report
Quantity on Hand - details the exact quantity of each product in stock at this time
Stock on Hand - Value of the stock on hand as of the end date of the selected time period
In - Quantity of stock moved into the location within the selected time period
Out - Quantity of stock moved out of the location within the selected time period

If you didn't run the report right on the date, you may have to back into it by taking a current report and netting out the sales and purchases that have happened since June 30th. At least that's the only way I know how to do it.

Really hoping someone has a better way.
The Inventory Movement Summary report gives you the stock value.
