Hide the Margin column on order entry.

Hi Support,

It is currently possible to configure various columns in order entry.

However, we cannot seem to hide the margin column.

This should be a very easy fix or enhancement.

Can we hide the margin column, please?

The problem comes when my Rep is entering an order for a customer in front of the customer; they can see the margins, which are all incorrect anyway.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks so much for posting this question.  I understand that you are currently looking to have a way to ensure that the sales margin is not customer facing so this information is not disclosed at the time of a sale.

    While your Cin7 Core account is not set up to be a customer facing order portal, there are 2 options for these scenarios:

    • POS: If a POS were set up and enabled through your Cin7 Core account this would not show the margin directly as it appears when entering an order within your Cin7 Core account.

    • B2B portal: This can be established to send invitations to any B2B customers you would like to have access to your B2B portal.  From here customers can make purchases and no margin information would be shared or displayed to the customer.

    This is a very poor response. We also often have customers standing near our screens when keying sales orders and also face this issue. POS and B2B as an alternative is not a suitable solution to this problem. Please advise how the margin column can be removed/hidden from the sales order screen
