Discover the new Smart Reorder
Smart Reorder has a new look. It still uses ForesightAI to suggest what to reorder, how much, and when — across purchasing, stock transfers, and assemblies — now in a redesigned, easier-to-use interface.
Each suggestion is a recommended replenishment quantity for a product and location, based on your sales history and forecast demand. It comes with the numbers behind it, like stock levels, sales trends, and forecasts, so you can understand the suggestion.
To use the new Smart Reorder, click Try the new look.
Before you start
You have set up ForesightAI.
Smart Reorder requires at least 6 months of sales history in Cin7 Core.
Smart Reorder only provides suggestions for products with suppliers.
Try the new look
Open Smart Reorder, go to Purchases > Smart Reorder.
Then click Try the new look to switch to the new Smart Reorder.
Set order type and filters
Smart Reorder shows one set of suggestions at a time, according to the Order type you're working in and the filters you apply. Set these first, before you review suggestions or create anything.
Order type
Use Order type to choose what kind of replenishment you're planning:
Purchase orders — order stock from suppliers.
Stock (Branch) transfers — move stock between locations.
Assemblies — schedule assemblies to build products.
Order window
Use the order window control to set how far ahead you're ordering, so only suggestions due within that time are shown:
Choose a preset, like This week, Next week, or 30 days.
Click Custom range to set your own order window.
More filters and search
Use the other filters, like supplier, location, category, and tags, to narrow the list further.
Click More filters to create and apply custom filters.
Search by product name or SKU.
Review suggestions
Before you create reorders, review each suggestion so you can sense-check, adjust, or skip it. See the suggestions list for an at-a-glance view, and the details panel for a deep dive on a single suggestion.
Suggestions list
Each line is one SKU-location suggestion. The key figure is Order quantity — the suggested order, transfer, or assembly quantity for a single SKU at a single location.
Segment — ForesightAI's classification of the product's performance, like Winner, Rising Star, or Stockout.
Location (Ship to / Assemble at) — the destination for the order: where stock is shipped to, or assembled.
Available stock — your current on-hand level at this location only.
Order quantity — the suggested order, transfer, or assembly quantity, with its order constraints (minimum order quantity, pack size, and unit).
Sold — units sold over recent months, with a direction arrow for the trend.
Supply schedule — the lead time, reorder cadence, and the next suggested reorder date.
Predecessor — the predecessor of this product, if any.
Cost — the line value, with unit price beneath. Purchase suggestions only.
Hide any suggestion you don't want to order using the eye icon — hidden lines move to the list header where you can restore them.
Details panel
Click a suggestion to expand its details panel and review the full analysis behind it.
At the top, several key figures give you what you need at a glance — such as this location's current availability, the lead time and reorder cadence, and the suggested reorder quantity.
Sales history and forecast shows the sales forecast graph for this product — the last 12 months of sales against the next 12 months of forecast demand, with totals for the last and next 90 days and 12 months. You can switch the location it's based on. For the full graph, click the Sales forecast at the top of the list.
Inventory and Product details show inventory figures from across your locations, plus product details from ForesightAI product settings.
Planned usage breaks down the next 90 days of demand for this product across direct sales, assembly consumption, and transfers, while Upcoming schedule lists the future orders this plan will raise for this line on its reorder cadence over the next year — a replenishment schedule, not a demand forecast.
Create reorders
Once you've set your Order type and filters and reviewed the suggestions, you can create your reorders. Reorders are created as authorized transactions in Cin7 Core, ready for you to review and process.
Select the reorders you want to create.
Adjust their Order quantities if needed.
Click Create.
Review the summary.
Click Create to confirm.
After you create reorders, the suggestions are removed from the list.
Export suggestions
Click Export 365-day schedule to export every suggestion for your current Order type, along with its scheduled orders for the next 365 days. This ignores the window and filters you have applied.
Or select suggestions and click Export draft to export just those lines at their current order quantities.
