General Settings
Customize your organization settings and preferences through the General Settings page. In this article, we will explain the different types of account settings you can customize in Cin7 Core.
Access your organization's General Settings by going to Settings → General Settings. Remember to Save any changes before exiting the screen.

Organization
Organization settings configure some of your business basics like your operating currency, who your emails are sent from, your time zone, and more. You'll want to make sure these are correct as soon as you set up your account. See Organization settings for detailed information.
Security settings
Maintain and enhance the security of your account with security settings. See Security settings for detailed information and Account security features for more Cin7 Core security features.
Financial settings
Your financial settings in Cin7 Core sets your financial years, your chart of account structure, and other settings to do with taxes and depreciation. Some of these settings are used only for recording purposes. See Financial settings for more information.
Product and measurement settings
Configure default units of measurement for your products, set SKU naming patterns, and other product settings. See Product and measurement settings for more information.
Purchase process customization
These settings include a range of parameters to customize the purchase workflow to meet your business process requirements. This includes which supplier price to use, how reorder settings are applied, whether purchase orders need approval before authorization. See Purchase process customization settings for more information.
Sale process customization
Sale process customization settings include a range of parameters to make sure your sales workflow in Cin7 Core reflects your business needs. These includes setting default tax rules for customers, how discounts are applied, whether you complete fulfillment processes manually or automatically, and more. Production process customization
These settings include a range of parameters to customize your production process to meet your business needs. This includes turning on product tracing, ordering components automatically, and selecting co-manufacturing procurement type. This is part of the Advanced Manufacturing module, which requires an add-on to your subscription. See Production process customization settings for more information.

Rounding table
Dynamically calculated prices are rounded up or down based on this rounding table, for example to implement a charm pricing strategy. See Managing price tiers – Rounding for more information on this feature.
Sale price tier names
Cin7 Core lets you set up to 10 price tiers for each product. You can then assign a price tier to a customer or sales channel to set prices for your products, for example, retail and wholesale prices. Price tier names are set here, while price tier values are managed from the product's details. See Pricing and price tiers for more information.
Document numbers
Cin7 Core generates document numbers for transaction documents (purchase orders, sale orders, invoices, etc.) automatically. In this section, you can specify prefixes, suffixes, and starting document numbers for the numbering pattern.
Multilingual support
Product, customer, and supplier names and details can be entered in multiple languages by enabling this setting. See Multilingual support for more information. This feature does not affect the system text.
Currently supported languages: English, Czech, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional) and Russian. Contact Cin7 Core Support if you wish to use a different language.
Once you have entered localized names for products, customers, or suppliers, do not change the default language to avoid potential system issues.
Gift card settings
Offer gift cards to your customers that they can use to pay for your products and services. Gift cards can be used sales in Cin7 Coreas well as for the B2B and POS sale channels. You must enable gift cards here before you can offer them to customers. See Gift card settings for more information.
Tooltip settings
Tooltips are present anywhere suppliers, products, stock, customers, and product deals are displayed. Use the sliders to enable or disable each type of tooltip, by default all tooltips are enabled. See Tooltips in Cin7 Core for more information.
CRM
The CRM module helps organizations streamline processes, build customer relationships, increase sales and improve customer service. See CRM settings for more information.
MRP
Material Requirements Planning (MRP) features allow you to incorporate their supply chain strategies into Cin7 Core inventory management. MRP considers demand from sales and supply from stock on hand, transfers, production, assembly, and suppliers to generate supply management suggestions. See MRP settings for more information.
